Our story
Distribuidora Cuscatlán was founded in 1995 in Maryland by the Rodríguez family with a simple purpose: to bring the flavors of El Salvador closer to home for the growing Latino community in the DMV area.
What started with a small selection of Salvadoran staples has grown into a trusted distribution company serving hundreds of retailers, restaurants, and families across the East Coast—without ever losing its family values or cultural roots.
Our Journey
By the early 2000s, we expanded beyond Salvadoran products, carefully curating a diverse catalog that now includes beloved brands from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and other Latin American countries. Today, over 85% of our catalog is made up of nostalgic Latin American products that spark memories, comfort, and connection.
From a modest warehouse to a modern distribution facility with full cold-chain capabilities and a fleet of climate-controlled trucks, our growth reflects our commitment to quality, reliability, and community.
